Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa yoga maintains a steady pace or flow and includes a series of postures that work the cardiovascular system. All of the poses are linked and combined with the rhythm of your inhalations and exhalations, aimed to build heat in the body and union with the breath. Because of the variations available in yoga, every class is open to all levels.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a passive style of yoga with asanas primarily practiced on the floor. With a deep focus on treating the connective tissue of the body, Yin yoga is unique in that it encourages students to relax into the postures, softening the muscle and moving closer to the bone. This offers a much deeper connection to the physical body while our instructors gently guide students through breathwork and meditation, connecting students to their subtle body. It is common for postures to be held for three to five minutes as students focus on quieting the mind.

Restorative Yoga

Our Place Yoga Restorative Yoga is a true gift! This 90 minute immersive “hands on” experience is designed to relax the body, calm the mind and lift the spirit. Each asana is held, fully supported, with the comfort of  yoga bolsters, blankets and blocks for 8-10 minutes each. As students release into each pose, our trained and qualified instructors provide loving Thai compression touch. Thai compression is offered to each student throughout the experience so that they may let go and melt into the present moment. Space is very limited and classes often sell out so pre-registration for this class is required.

Core Yoga

Our 20 minute core yoga classes are fun! Designed for all levels, these classes are a great supplement for any yoga practice. Come flow between classes or get your core fix!

Kids Yoga

Kids Yoga is currently on a brief hiatus until Summer 2020.

Returning Tuesday, June 16th!

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is a a slower-paced sequence focused on physical asana and breathing techniques, practiced more slowly and with more static posture holds than Vinyasa flow. Our Place Hatha is suitable for all levels and is both strengthening and relaxing. This practice will leave you feeling grounded, strong and calm.
